D4 News

Hello friends,

As a follow up to last week's newsletter, I want everyone to know that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has scheduled their next public meeting regarding S.W. 10th Street for April 24.  It will be from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel (I-95 and Hillsboro Boulevard).  The format FDOT has selected will be an open house with representatives available to answer questions.  There will be no formal presentation like there was at the meeting in November 2017.

Deerfield Beach residents living in the Waterways, Independence Bay, Waterford Homes and Courtyards, and Century Village should definitely attend as this project will affect you the most.  However, any resident that lives in Deerfield Beach should be concerned as construction and the resultant traffic diversions will affect every major roadway in our city.

Please attend and make sure officials know what you like or do not like about this project.

A copy of the FDOT notification letter is linked here for you to read.

As always, I will continue to share more details with you as they become available.

Have a good weekend!

Todd Drosky
