Pier Repairs & Improvements Project

The International Fishing Pier was damaged by storm surge due to Hurricane Nicole, on November 9, 2022. The City conducted a structural assessment of the pier which resulted in several recommendations for improvement.  This project is a signature attraction to the city's beachfront and will benefit the Deerfield Beach community. The International Fishing Pier attracts fishermen and sightseers from all over the world and supports the City's world-renowned live camera feed.  

This project aligns with the City's commitment to developing infrastructure, facilities, and organizational capacity for a sustainable community.
