Bryce Gowdy Student Scholar Athlete of the Month Program
The City of Deerfield Beach recognizes the importance of education and encourages students to excel in academics and sports. In an effort to recognize hard work in the classroom and on the field the City along with Education Advisory Board (EAB) developed the “Bryce Gowdy Student Scholar Athlete of the Month” award.
The EAB will select a winner each month from athletes demonstrating excellence in academics, athletics, and community involvement. Once a student receives the award the City Commission will recognize the student at a City Commission meeting.
Students are encouraged to complete an application. Application deadlines are the third Friday of each month. Applications should be submitted to the City of Deerfield Beach Legislative and Community Affairs Department.
