Festival of the Arts

Due to COVID-19 the Cultural Committee members along with the City of Deerfield Beach have postponed our annual Festival of the Arts (FOA) event that is usually held on the last weekend of January. Please check back at a later date for more information.  In lieu of FOA, a socially distant Pop Up Art at Pioneer Park event was held on Saturday, March 20, 2021.

Applications will be reviewed on March 15th at the Cultural Committee meeting. Please submit applications to dfbspecialevents@deerfield-beach.com by 3:00 PM on Monday, March 15th to ensure that you will be a part of the first wave of application reviews.

POP UP ART MODIFICATION DETAILS

  • The City will host five (5), two (2) hour picnic sessions from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM at Pioneer Park on our baseball field.
  • Advance pre-registration for this portion of the event is mandatory. Staff will be registering Guests on the day of the event.;
  • All registered Guests will have to virtually sign a waiver for all persons through Eventbrite.
  • Coolers are prohibited.
  • Parking available at Pioneer Park, City Hall, and the Tennis Center. 
  • Participants should arrive 15 – 20 minutes prior to their show time to check in with authorized staff at their designated time to have their temperature checked.
  • Staff members will also ask the participants COVID-19 screening questions. Anyone that has a temperature of 100.4° or fails the screening questions will be denied entry. Once cleared the Guests will be given access to our event.
  • Guests will be required to use proper PPE, including wearing face coverings while at the event.
  • Face masks must be worn at all times if not eating or drinking.
  • Hand sanitizers will be given to all guests at check-in and dispensers will be placed throughout the event.
  • All participants at the event must make every effort to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
  • Guests must avoid handshaking and fist bumps.

Overnight Parking: 
Overnight parking for RV's and trailers is currently not available. "No Frills" overnight parking is available approximately 2 miles away at Pioneer Park (501 NE NE Eller St). RV's must park within the designated parking signs.

Fees:

  • Jury Fee  $25 (non-refundable)
  • 10 x 10 ft Regular Booth   - $250
  • 10 x 10 ft End Space Booth  -  $350
  • Electricity - $40 for event
  • Bottled water and breakfast is provided by the Committee

Payment Options: 
Make payments with 2 separate checks. The 1st check is for the $25 non-refundable jury fee. The 2nd check is for the refundable booth cost. Both checks should be made payable to the City of Deerfield Beach and mailed to:
