In 1980 Mayor Robb made her first political bid for the top seat and won. She served until 1993 and left behind a list of accomplishments including a County Courthouse built in the City. Mayor Robb has been a resident of Deerfield Beach for 55 years and she has seen how the city has evolved and grown into a bustling municipality and popular choice among tourists. She credits the city’s beautiful beaches for bringing the tourists back every year. She believes it’s the gem of Broward County.
