Effective Oct. 1, Deerfield Beach solid waste, recycling and bulk trash schedules will change
View NEW schedule and map
The City of Deerfield Beach is implementing a new garbage, recycling and bulk trash schedule in order to reduce fuel costs, increase efficiency and better serve residents. At the same time, the city's collection service area has expanded to include approximately 2,300 additional homes in the Bonnie Lock and Tedder annexed areas. As a result of this streamlined collection method, some residents will find that their recycling, garbage and bulk trash days have changed. The following neighborhoods will be affected in one or more of these collection categories.
- Deer Creek, Deer Point, Deer Chase
- Starlight Cove, Hammocks, Riverglen, Villages of Hillsboro
- Independence Bay, Waterways
- Gibson, Alwood, College Park
- Crystal Lake, Crystal Lake Heights, Waterford, Meadows, Discovery Point
- Tidewater and Pine Tree Mobile Home Parks
- Deer Run
A brochure with the new schedule and an easy to read map is being mailed to all customers. Or view the brochure here.
