D4 News
Hello friends,

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.  Hopefully, you will be able to spend quality time with your families while enjoying some time off from work.  This is always a special time of year, and my family and I wish you all the best.

As an update from last week's newsletter, the Quiet Waters Park pedestrian entrance on Hillsboro Boulevard just east of N.W. 45th Avenue is open on weekdays only.  It is closed on weekends and holidays when the main entrance on Powerline Road must be utilized.

I would also like to remind everyone of the garbage and recycling collection schedule for December 25th through December 30th.  There will be no service provided on Monday, December 25th due to the Christmas holiday. Monday collection will take place on Tuesday, and Tuesday collection will take place on Wednesday. Service will return to the normally scheduled collection for Thursday and Friday. Monday bulk trash collection will take place on Tuesday. Collection for the remainder of the week will take place one day late.

Have a safe and happy holiday,

Todd Drosky
Commissioner
