D4 News
Hello friends,

I wanted to let you all know about the City's adjusted garbage and recycling collection for the week of December 25th through December 30th. There will be no service provided on Monday, December 25th due to the Christmas holiday. Monday collection will take place on Tuesday, and Tuesday collection will take place on Wednesday. Service will return to normally scheduled collection for Thursday and Friday. Monday bulk trash collection will take place on Tuesday. Collection for the remainder of the week will take place one day late.

Also of interest to District 4 residents is that Quiet Waters Park opened a new pedestrian/bike entrance on November 20th on Hillsboro Boulevard (just east of 45th Avenue). This creates easier and quicker access for our residents. In addition, the dog park permit was finally approved and construction should begin shortly if it hasn't begun already. A spring 2018 opening is anticipated. The dog park will be conveniently located near the new pedestrian entrance.

I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season!

Todd Drosky
Commissioner
