Happy Friday to all of you. I want to remind everyone that the holiday lights will officially come on this Saturday night at the annual Ocean Way Holiday celebration at the beach. Please click the link below for more information.  Our next City Commission Meeting will be held on December 5th at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Friends, there is a lot happening in Deerfield Beach so, I want to encourage residents to attend and join the discussion on City Business.

District Four Saturday Office Hours - December 2nd
District Four Commissioner, Todd Drosky is happy to introduce Saturday office hours, December 2nd, 2017 at City Hall located at 150 NE 2nd Ave., Deerfield Beach. Commissioner Drosky will be available to meet with constituents on an appointment basis, between the hours of 10am - noon.

Deerfield Beach Annual Ocean Way Holiday Celebration!
Join us for the 4th Annual Deerfield Beach Ocean Way Holiday Celebration presented by the Deerfield Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, Saturday, December 2nd, at the International Fishing Pier (200 NE 21st Ave). Festivities will begin at 5:00pm and run until 9:00pm.

Winter is Coming to Deerfield Beach
Come and celebrate the holiday magic with the City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department! The holiday magic kicks off on Saturday, December 9th with the annual Winter Wonderland at Villages of Hillsboro Park, 4111 NW 6th St., from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Then head on over to the Snow Day Festivities at the Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex, 445 SW 2nd St., from 2:00pm to 6:00pm for a day full of activities and rides for all ages! The holiday festivities wrap up on Saturday, December 16th, at the annual Winter Frost Festival at the Highlands Community Center, 511 NE 44th St., from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

Books & Toys Needed for Deerfield Beach Children
Please join Commissioner Gloria Battle and the City of Deerfield Beach in a Book and Toy drive for children less fortunate in our community.  A book and a toy will be handed out at the Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, December 20th from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at Oveta McKeithen Recreational Center located at 445 SW 2nd Street, Deerfield Beach. Collection bins will be available at City Hall located at 150 NE Second Avenue and Constitution Park located at 2841 W. Hillsboro Blvd., in Deerfield Beach.
