2020 Census Community Meeting

The City of Deerfield Beach is hosting a 2020 Census Community meeting on Thursday, November 14 at 6:30 PM in the City Commission Chambers located at 150 NE 2 Avenue, Deerfield Beach. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information to the Community and begin planning for the 2020 Census. The campaign #DFBCounts encourages all those living in Deerfield Beach to participate in the national headcount, which begins on April 1, 2020.

By responding to the census, you help the community get its fair share of the nearly $675 billion per year in federal funds that will be allocated to local communities across the country including Deerfield Beach to be spent on schools, hospitals, roads, public works, and other vital programs. Federal funds, grants, and support to states, counties, and communities are based on population totals and breakdowns by sex, age, race, and other factors. The Deerfield Beach community benefits the most when the census counts everyone.
