Fall Festival Flyer - updated for October 31

Out of an abundance of caution with the inclement weather we have had all week and the conditions of our fields we have made decision to postpone the Fall Festival event to next Saturday, October 31st. Join us for the 6th Annual Deerfield Beach Fall Festival, Saturday, October 24th, at Villages of Hillsboro, 4111 NW 6th St. Enjoy a day of fun with the entire family! This festival event includes several fun activities such as a Fall decoration contest for those driving thru our event, picking up goodie bags from BSO, picking out your perfect pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, enjoying our live DJ, and much more!

Fee Pumpkin Pick-up: Free for residents; $2 per vehicle for non-residents
Fee Drive-thru Trunk or treat: Free for residents; Free per vehicle for non-residents

Drive-thru Pumpkin Pick-up


We are encouraging all participants to pick-up their pumpkins early to participate in our Pumpkin carving contest.

We will host pumpkin pick-ups at Constitution Park (2841 W Hillsboro Blvd.) & Oveta McKeithan Recreational Complex (445 SW 2nd St.) from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 24th, Monday, October 26th & Tuesday, October 27th. All participants must pre-register for a pumpkin, registration will be available on-site.

Please Note: Residents that do not pre-register must show proof of residency prior to receiving a free pumpkin. 

Drive-thru Trunk or Treat


We are encouraging all participants that attend our event to dressed up and decorate their vehicle. We will have a contest for most creative vehicle, scariest vehicle and most spirited vehicle. Bring the family to enjoy our live DJ, participate in our truck or treat drive through with Broward Sheriffs Office, grab a pumpkin to take home with you all residents are free with proof of residency and $2 for non-residents.

Spots are limited and reservations are required; please see link above to reserve your spot now!
Present receipt and a valid ID to the event.


PARKING


  • Parking lot will open at 5:00 PM.
  • The parking lot speed limit is 5 MPH at all times, PLEASE watch for children.
  • Each vehicle is entitled to one parking space.
  • Make sure you park where you are instructed, pay close attention to the parking staff.
  • Because of sight line obstruction large trucks, vans, or SUVs, will be parked in the back.
  • Persons shall remain in their vehicles except for the sole purpose of utilizing the restroom
    • Persons may utilize the bed of their truck to watch the movie
    • No lawn chairs will be allowed to be set-up next to vehicles
    • For your own safety no one is allowed to sit on top of their vehicle for any reason.
  • To avoid disturbance, if unknown, please consult your car’s operating manual ahead of time for instruction on how to manually turn off your headlights before movie start.
  • Bring your own snack & drink (concessions will not be available)
  • Wearing a mask is required when utilizing the restroom
  • Movies will play as scheduled rain or shine.
  • Satellite bathrooms are available on-site. Please be observant of social distancing and the use of hand sanitizers provided.
  • Also remember to start your car from time to time to charge your battery.
  • We ask that you keep your stereo level to a reasonable level and do not disturb the people around you.

SOUND


On the night of the movie a the DJ and VMS board will instruct you which FM channel we will be using for sound.Also remember to start your car from time to time to charge your battery.We ask that you keep your stereo level to a reasonable level and do not disturb the people around you.

FOOD


Food is allowed, kettle corn popcorn will be given to each vehicle. We also ask that you take your trash with you and dispose of it properly.


BATHROOMS


Satellite bathrooms are available on-site. Please be observant of social distancing and the use of hand sanitizers provided


WEATHER

Movies will play as scheduled rain or shine. 


REFUNDS

All sales are final. In the event of weather, rain dates have been made available.
